Shive Kumar PinnaThorrur: A Blue Colt constable was injured in a knife attack while responding to a family dispute at Thorrur town in Mahabubabad district on Friday.According to the injured constable J Ramachandru, there had been a dispute between one G Koteshwar and his wife, Chandrakala, for the past few days. On Friday, Chandrakala lodged a complaint through Dial 112. Responding to the call, Ramachandru went to their residence.Ramachandru said Koteshwar became enraged upon seeing him and attacked him with a knife. During the ensuing scuffle, the constable sustained a stab injury to his left arm. He immediately alerted the Thorrur police station, following which his colleagues rushed to the spot and shifted him to a hospital.Thorrur sub-inspector G Upender said Koteshwar was arrested and taken to the Thorrur police station after Chandrakala lodged a complaint. A case has been registered based on her complaint.
