Housing Board to issue Indiramma house allotment letters soon

Hyderabad: Allotment letters for beneficiaries selected under Indiramma Towers LIG housing scheme are expected to be issued this week, Telangana Housing Board vice chairperson VP Gautham said on Sunday.Gautham said field verification was completed for 6,660 candidates selected through the lucky draw, while verification of the remaining candidates would also be completed within the week. Allotment letters would be issued to candidates found eligible as per govt rules.He assured selected candidates that there was no need for anxiety over the allotment of houses, stating that the verification and eligibility confirmation process was being carried out transparently and in accordance with prescribed regulations.The Housing Board chiefcautioned beneficiaries against brokers and middlemen allegedly seeking money by promising to secure housing allotments or influence officials. He made it clear that such persons have no role in the allotment process and urged beneficiaries not to pay bribes, commissions or any other amount to unauthorised individuals.He said the allotment letter would contain details of the first instalment, the amount payable, payment deadline and other instructions. Beneficiaries must make payments only to the official bank account specified in the allotment letter and should not deposit money into personal or unauthorised accounts.Gautham urged beneficiaries to immediately inform Housing Board officials or police if anyone demands money for allotment or directs them to make payments to unauthorised accounts. He warned that legal action would be initiated against those involved in such activities.For official information, beneficiaries could visit Telangana Housing Board website, tghb.telangana.gov.in, or contact the call centre at 040-24603572. He appealed to beneficiaries to rely only on official announcements, allotment letters and instructions issued by authorised Housing Board officials.
