Hyderabad: Telangana schools will have their summative assessment-I (SA-I) examinations for the 2026-27 academic year from Oct 1 to 9, according to the timetable issued by the school education department on Tuesday.The exams will be held for students from Classes I to X, with different timings prescribed for each class. For Classes I to V, exams will be held from 9.30 am to noon, while Class VI students will write exams from 9.15 am to noon. Class VII exams are scheduled from 1.15 pm to 4 pm, Class VIII from 9.15 am to noon, Class IX from 1.15 pm to 4.15 pm, and Class X from 9.15 am to 12.15 pm.The first paper on Oct 1 will be mathematics for Classes VIII, IX and X, while Classes VI and VII will begin with their first-language papers. Subsequent papers include second and third languages, science, social studies and English.For Classes III, IV and V, EVS will be held on Oct 8, and second-language Telugu paper, meant for non-Telugu-first-language students, will be on Oct 9.
