HYDERABAD: Ram Reddy Samula has been elected as the Chairman of the Bar Council of Telangana on Sunday.He will succeed A Narsimha Reddy who has been Chairman for close to two decades.Venkat Yadav Chalakani has been elected Vice-Chairman and Kiran Kumar G. has been nominated to the Bar Council of India in the results declared on Sunday, Sept. 13.Ram Reddy and Kiran Kumar have been elected to the council for the first time while Venkat Yadav has been elected for the second time.The highly contested election was held in January 2026. Counting took place between Feb 10 and March 24, and election authorities declared 23 advocates elected to the Telangana Bar Council on March 26. In August, two women members were co-opted to the Bar Council.
