Hyderabad: As part of an anti-narcotics campaign in the Malkajgiri commissionerate, EAGLE sleuths, with the support of local police, are focusing on people gathering at Ganesh pandals at night to spread awareness about drug abuse.The initiative, which began on Tuesday night, will continue for a few more days. During the campaign, officials are educating people about the consequences of drug abuse, its impact on a person’s health and the trauma it can cause to their families. They are also explaining the legal consequences of drug peddling and drug abuse.Later, locals are made to take an oath to remain vigilant, stay away from drugs and alert the police if they come across any instances of drug misuse.
