BRS announces ₹1L aid for families of deceased in RIMS fire incident | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: BRS on Wednesday announced ₹1 lakh financial assistance to the family of each infant who died in the fire at RIMS, Adilabad. A delegation of BRS leaders visited the site of the incident and later met infants undergoing treatment at a private hospital.The leaders inspected the area where the fire broke out and reviewed the situation. At the private hospital, they enquired about the condition of the injured children and interacted with their families, expressing solidarity with them.The delegation said that on the instructions of BRS working president KT Rama Rao, the party would provide ₹1 lakh to each bereaved family. The leaders also demanded that the state govt provide ₹25 lakh compensation to each family.They called for a comprehensive probe into the cause of the fire and stringent action against those found responsible. The delegation assured the affected families of continued support.The delegation comprised former ministers Satyavathi Rathod and Jogu Ramanna, Asifabad MLA Kova Lakshmi, Boath MLA Anil Jadhav, senior leader Tula Uma and Khanapur constituency in-charge Johnson Naik.
