Angelina Jolie’s lawyer SLAMS Brad Pitt’s legal tactics; claims he was FORCING actress ‘to sign an NDA to cover up his abuse’ |

Angelina Jolie’s lawyer has criticised Brad Pitt’s latest legal attempt to obtain her financial records, calling it another effort to control the narrative surrounding their long-running dispute over Chateau Miraval.
Judge rejects Brad Pitt’s request for Angelina Jolie’s financial records
This comes after a judge rejected Pitt’s request for Jolie to hand over her financial records from 2017 to 2019. The records were sought as part of the ongoing legal battle over their French winery. According to the ruling, the court found that Pitt’s side had ‘not demonstrated sufficient cause’ to override Jolie’s privacy interests. However, the judge left the door open for Pitt to renew his request if Jolie’s testimony ultimately puts her income from those years at issue.
Brad Pitt of trying to control the narrative?
Following the ruling, Jolie’s attorney Paul Murphy criticised the request and told TMZ, “This is a motion Brad never should’ve brought.”He further alleged, “Mr. Pitt’s unyielding demand for harassing information is just the latest manifestation of his attempts to control her and the narratives in this case. What Angelina wants and has always wanted is to untangle her personal and financial life from her ex-husband. Rather than do the right thing and buy her out at an agreed price, Mr. Pitt at the last minute tried to use her exit from Miraval as leverage to force her [to] sign an NDA to cover up his abuse of her and their children. That is what this case is about, not her personal income from five years before she sold her interest.”
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s Chateau Miraval dispute
Jolie and Pitt’s legal battle over Chateau Miraval began several years ago with the actress selling off her interest in the winery to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group.Pitt subsequently sued his ex-wife, alleging that the sale ‘violated an agreement’ between them, that neither would sell their respective interests in the winery without consulting the other.
