BJP will form next govt in Telangana, says Ramchander Rao | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao on Wednesday said the Congress govt had about 750 days left in its tenure and claimed people would teach it a lesson for failing to fulfil its promises and address public issues. He said the BJP would form a ‘people’s govt’ in Telangana soon, adding that the elections would be a two-sided fight between BJP and Congress.Ramchander Rao visited the Parakala Amaradhamam to pay tributes to those killed in the Parakala massacre on Sept 2, 1947. He was accompanied by BJP state vice-president Boora Narsaiah Goud.“The BJP will draw inspiration from martyrs who had fought against Nizam’s rule,” Ramchander Rao said.Speaking to reporters at Bhuvanagiri, Ramchander Rao alleged that Congress workers attacked the residence of a BJP leader in Nalgonda district in which the party leader’s mother reportedly suffered injuries. Condemning the incident, Ramchander Rao said attacks on political workers and party offices had no place in a democracy.Ramchander Rao said the BJP was the only alternative for welfare and comprehensive development in Telangana and said it would emerge as the state’s next ruling party with people’s support.
