Robert Pattinson’s return as the Batman is already generating enough hype and fresh fan theories about the plot of the highly awaited sequel. Production on the Matt Reeves directorial is underway in London and set photos and videos that leaked online, have teased possible new character entries in ‘The Batman Part II’.The latest images from the sets, tease a possible connection to one of Batman’s most mysterious comic-book factions – the Court of Owls. Photos and videos saw leading man, Robert Pattinson walking out of a building, surrounded a large crowd, believed to be protesters. Fans spotted the actors carrying signs, with one particular sign reading ‘Court of Fowls’. Many have interpreted this as a nod to the Court of Owls that has long been associated with Gotham’s elite in the comics.However, the sign does not officially confirm that the Court of Owls will appear in the film. With plot details still being kept under wraps.

Another detail that has sparked speculation is the appearance of a protester carrying a sign featuring an “A”. Fans have linked the imagery to Anarky, a Batman character associated with anti-authoritarian and anarchist ideology.Some even spotted the same logo featuring in the upcoming ‘Clayface’ film, teasing a connection between the two films.The production has also been filming at locations including Freemasons Hall in London, with the elaborate sets and street scenes.

Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson join Robert Pattinson

The sequel is also expanding its cast with several major new additions.Reeves confirmed that Marvel stars Sebastian Stan and Scarlett Johansson are joining the film, alongside Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry and Sebastian Koch.Stan is set to play Harvey Dent, while Johansson has been confirmed ato play his wife, Gilda Dent.Returning alongside Pattinson are Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon and Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb aka, The Penguin. Jayme Lawson is also returning as Bella Reál.

While several leaked images from the sets have teased major moments in the film, fans will have to wait considerably longer to see Pattinson back in action. ‘The Batman Part II’ is set to arrive in theatres on February 18, 2028, almost six years after ‘The Batman’ opened in March 2022.The sequel was originally scheduled for October 2, 2026, before being pushed to October 1, 2027. The latest delay moved the film to February 2028, giving Reeves additional time to complete the highly anticipated follow-up.‘The Batman Part II’ is scheduled to release in theatres on February 18, 2028.
