Sohum Shah, who shot to fame with the 2018 cult hit ‘Tumbbad’, is now back on set for its much-awaited sequel, ‘Tumbbad 2 – Pralay Aayega.’ This time around, the film promises a far grander canvas, with Alia Bhatt and Nawazuddin Siddiqui joining the cast in pivotal roles. Amid the shoot, Sohum shared photos taken at the very location where the original film was filmed, and the nostalgia clearly hit hard.

Sohum Shah shares pictures from the iconic wada

Taking to Instagram, Sohum posted a series of pictures of himself seated on the staircase of the wada featured in the first film, with its iconic front door visible in the background. The images took fans straight back to the world of the original Tumbbad.Sharing the post, the actor wrote a heartfelt caption in Hindi: “सालों बाद फिर उसी वाड़े की छाँव में हूँ, जहाँ से ये सारा खेल शुरू हुआ था। #Tumbbad2 #PralayAayega” (Years later, I’m back in the shade of that same wada, where this entire journey began).
