Hyderabad: Police and district authorities have stepped up security and logistical arrangements ahead of the NEET-PG examination on Sunday. The exam will be held in a single shift from 9 am to 12.30 pm, with over 2.73 lakh candidates appearing at 1,300 centres across 340 cities nationwide. In Hyderabad, around 990 candidates are expected at four centres. Officials reviewed security, frisking, surveillance, power supply and basic amenities, while police inspected CCTV cameras, parking facilities and access routes. Prohibitory orders will remain in force from 6 am to 6 pm around exam centres, barring gatherings within 200 metres. Candidates have also been advised to plan travel early due to Hyderabad Marathon traffic restrictions too.
