Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy will address a public meeting after inaugurating and laying foundation stones for various works worth Rs 345 crore in Sircilla on Sept 30. Sircilla assembly constituency is represented by BRS working president KT Rama Rao. This will be Revanth’s first visit to Sircilla as chief minister. Earlier, he visited the constituency thrice when Congress was in the opposition. During a public meeting in Nakrekal earlier this month, CM had announced that he would visit Gajwel, Sircilla and Siddipet, the constituencies represented by BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao, respectively.CM is likely to target BRS top leaders during the public meeting in Sircilla, followed by Siddipet and Gajwel, the dates for which are yet to be decided. His visit to Sircilla on Wednesday will also focus on the welfare of weavers, women’s empowerment, education and infrastructure development. A key initiative will be the proposed ‘Nethanna Bazaar’ in Sircilla to provide marketing facilities for handloom and powerloom products, including petticoats and polyester fabrics produced locally.Proposals for infrastructure and financial assistance have been submitted to the commissioner of handlooms and textiles, with final approval and cost estimates awaited. Chief minister will lay the foundation stone for Young India Integrated Residential Schools in Sircilla and Vemulawada at a cost of ₹200 crore. The school complex proposed at Pedduru will come up on 18 acres with 64 classrooms, dormitories, a dining block and sports facilities, catering to around 2,600 students from classes five to 12.Telangana Public Schools will also be established in Sircilla and Konaraopet, with modern classrooms, laboratories, dining halls, sports facilities and IT infrastructure. Foundation stones will also be laid for development works worth ₹99.4 crore at Vemulawada Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple. The works will cover 26 components, including mandapams, gopurams, compound walls, site development, water and sewage systems, electrical works, shopping complexes and a CC road.CM will also launch administrative and welfare infrastructure, including seven govt office buildings, 10,000-metric-tonne warehouses at Rudrangi and Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan at Pedduru. A women’s police station will be established in Vemulawada, along with traffic police stations in Vemulawada and Sircilla.
