The curtain-raiser meeting in the national capital is part of the govt’s outreach to industry leaders ahead of the flagship event. While the chief minister’s office said Revanth’s visit is primarily aimed at promoting the investment summit, sources did not rule out the possibility of him seeking appointments with the Prime Minister, Union home minister and other Union ministers.During the meetings, he is expected to highlight the prevailing drought conditions in Telangana and concerns over a further deterioration due to the anticipated impact of El Niño, besides seeking central financial assistance and other support measures.Sources in the CMO said the chief minister’s programme in Delhi is yet to be finalised. A decision on whether he will remain in the national capital to attend the Nov 1 rally against the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls at Ramlila Maidan is expected to depend on his meeting schedule with central leaders.“Depending on the appointments, the chief minister may either stay back in Delhi or return to Hyderabad on Friday,” a source said.
