TPCC calls for statewide protests demanding CEC’s resignation | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: Telangana Congress president B Mahesh Kumar Goud on Sunday called upon the party leaders and workers to hold protests at all district headquarters in the state on Monday (Sept 28), demanding the resignation of chief election commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.Mahesh Goud said that in Hyderabad, a protest will be held at the Ambedkar statue, Tank Bund on Monday. He demanded that Election Commission provide a comprehensive explanation for reported objections raised by election commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi on various aspects of the special intensive revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
