The fifth season will pick up right after the events of the season 4 finale and follow the Pogues as they continue their hunt for Blackbear’s Blue Crown. However, they now also have vengeance on their mind to hunt down Chandler Groff, who killed JJ. The crew also has to form an alliance with Rafe after they face the Kooks at home and other adversaries on international waters, all hunting for the same thing.In the final episode of ‘Outer Banks’ season 4, the Pogues attempt to settle down with their El Dorado gold but later set out on a dangerous hunt for Blackbeard’s Blue Crown. JJ’s true parentage is finally revealed in the show; however, his story comes to a tragic end when his own father, Chandler Groff, stabs him and runs away with the treasure in Morocco as he dies in Kiara’s arms.
