Truck rams into multiple vehicles, 7 injured

Hyderabad: Seven motorists were injured after a truck driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into multiple vehicles near the IKEA flyover on Saturday night. The incident disrupted traffic movement for sometime.According to Madhapur police, the accident occurred around 10.30 pm. As per a complaint lodged by an IT employee, she was riding on a two-wheeler from the IKEA flyover towards Inorbit Mall when a truck rammed into her vehicle and 10 other vehicles. Seven motorists who were injured were shifted to a local hospital, where they were treated as outpatients.The damaged vehicles included three cars, two autorickshaws and two-wheelers. On receiving information about the accident, police reached the spot and took custody of the truck driver, A Anil Kumar of Vikarabad, who had been caught by onlookers. The accused was booked under sections 125(a) (act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 281 (rash driving on public way) of BNS. The damaged vehicles were also moved away from the road by the police.
