However, her silence during the recent student protests in Jharkhand has sparked questions.In a recent conversation, Sonakshi’s father and veteran actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha addressed the matter and also revealed whether his daughter could eventually enter politics. He reacted to the trolling.Shatrughan Sinha said that Sonakshi had, in fact, shown “quite strong support” for the children of Jharkhand a few days ago. When asked whether her vocal stand during the CJP protest indicated that she might consider joining politics, the veteran actor-politician replied in an interview with ABP News, “I can’t say, earlier I used to ask too.” He went on to praise his daughter, saying, “I can only say that she is the extremely capable daughter of an extremely capable father.”Shatrughan Sinha also hit back at those who frequently troll Sonakshi on social media. He alleged that many of the trolls targeting his daughter are paid and claimed that the BJP’s IT cell orchestrates trolling against her. According to him, such attacks are not organic and are carried out by people who may not even understand what they are saying. He further pointed out that Sonakshi has chosen not to let the criticism affect her, saying, “But Sonakshi said it well that I don’t even watch it, there is a lot of life.”On work front, Sonakshi was last seen on OTT in System, a legal drama in which she portrayed a lawyer. Details about her upcoming projects are yet to be officially announced.
