Ranveer Singh‘s ‘Dhurandhar’ broke all records at the box office and also won a lot of praise from all over. Now Salman Khan has also spoken about the Aditya Dhar directorial. The superstar was the first guest on ‘Koffee With Karan‘ season 9 which kickstarted from today, October 14 onwards. Karisma Kapoor made a special appearance on the episode as she was the host for the rapid fire round while Karan competed with Salman for the hamper.When asked to choose between Ranbir in ‘Animal’ and Ranveer in ‘Dhurandhar’, Salman Khan said, “Two different kinds of performances, you cannot compare any of them. Both are fantastic actors, one has tremendous energy, one has tremendous intensity so you cannot compare. Especially for Ranveer in Dhurandhar, he had to control his energy, everything he does is larger-than-life. For any actor that’s a huge amount of insecurity that he didn’t have in the film. He was very secure as an actor and in that role in Dhurandhar.”During the episode, Salman also revealed why he doesn’t speak about his personal life or relationships as he clarified on his ‘virgin’ remark. He shared, “That was a way of saying, Karan, that I don’t want to talk about it. You keep saying, ‘I am dating so-and-so person,’ but you never know if this person is going to be in your life. Then that person goes ahead and gets married to somebody else. Since I was 16, my father has said one thing: ‘Yeh personal life tumhara bedroom hai, aur living room poori country hai. Jo aap living room mein bol sakte ho, poori country mein bolo, bedroom yahaan tak nahi aana chahiye (Your personal life is your bedroom, while the living room represents the entire country. Whatever you can say in the living room, say it in front of the whole country, but the bedroom should remain off-limits)’.”On work front, Salman will be seen next in ‘Maatrubhumi’.
