Hyderabad: A 25-year-old man allegedly killed his wife by attacking her with a pestle at their residence in Baglingampalli on Sunday. The accused was identified as Narender, an accountant at a hotel in RTC Crossroads. According to police officials, Narender married Teja Sri about five years ago. However, their relationship had become strained. On Sunday, the couple had an argument, following which Narender, allegedly in a fit of rage, attacked Teja Sri on the head with a pestle. She died on the spot. Later, Narender went to the police station and surrendered.Police reached the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital for postmortem. Forensic experts were called to the scene to collect evidence. Police registered a murder case against Narender.
