HC orders CBI probe into corruption allegations involving Punjab CM’s office OSD
High Court on Monday transferred to the CBI a matter involving corruption allegations against the Punjab Chief Minister’s Office and private individuals.

NEW DELHI: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has ordered that the investigation into allegations raised by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in three letters to the Punjab Director General of Police (DGP) be handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).The court passed the order while hearing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by advocate Nikhil Saraf, who had approached the High Court after the Punjab Police allegedly failed to register a case on the ED’s complaints, news agency ANI reported.
