NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi Wednesday asked all ministers to ensure the benefits of all govt schemes and programmes reach every eligible person and to work for society’s overall development. At the Chintan Shivir meeting, Modi interacted with eight groups of eight ministers each, which deliberated on improving self-efficiency, delivery, effective communication and trust-based governance. TOI has learnt that the PM interacted with each group separately and the brainstorming session went on for nearly five hours at Seva Teerth.Ministers will resume the exercise Thursday. “PM went to each table to take part in the discussion and made suggestions as well. It was an altogether different experience,” said a source.The two-day brainstorming session is aimed at stocktaking, improving coordination, preparing govt’s future agenda and reviewing work underway on welfare schemes.
