CSIR NET December 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the online application process for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC NET December 2026 examination on November 5, 2026. Candidates seeking eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions can submit their applications through the official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in.The application window opened on October 7, 2026. Candidates who have not completed registration must submit their forms and pay the examination fee within the prescribed deadline. The information bulletin contains details about eligibility, examination pattern, subject codes, fees and application procedures.CSIR NET December 2026 application and correction datesCandidates can submit their applications until November 5, 2026, at 11:50 PM. The deadline for successful fee transactions without a late fee is also November 5.Those who miss the regular deadline can submit applications with a late fee of Rs 500 between November 6 and November 9, 2026. The last date for payment of the late fee is November 9, 2026, at 11:50 PM.The application correction window will remain open from November 10 to November 12, 2026, until 11:50 PM. Corrections can be made through the official website.CSIR UGC NET December 2026 examination scheduleThe NTA will conduct the examination on December 19, 22 and 27, 2026. The test will have a duration of 180 minutes, or three hours, and will be conducted in two shifts:• Shift 1: 9 AM to 12 noon• Shift 2: 3 PM to 6 PMThe examination city intimation slip and admit card release dates will be announced separately.
