Actor Chandrachur Singh has filed a police complaint over a disputed family property matter. The actor has accused several relatives of allegedly forging his grandfather’s will. Chandrachur Singh has named his aunt Gaytri Devi, two cousins and four others in the complaint. The case relates to a will that wasallegedly prepared in 1997. The actor has questioned the circumstances under which the document was executed.
Actor alleges grandfather’s signature was forged
According to Chandrachur Singh’s complaint, his grandfather Thakur Harender Pal Singh was a prominent landowner in Jalalpur village, located on the outskirts of Aligarh.The actor has alleged that Thakur Harender Pal Singh’s signature was forged on the disputed will. He claimed that his grandfather was critically ill at the time and was not in a condition to sign legal documents.Chandrachur Singh has accused his uncle Ganga Singh and other family members of allegedly being involved in the forgery. He claimed that the disputed document affected the inheritance rights of his father, late Captain Baldev Singh. Captain Baldev Singh was a former Congress MLA from Aligarh city.
Chandrachur Singh questions circumstances of will
The actor has also raised questions about who was present when the disputed will was allegedly executed. According to his complaint, Captain Baldev Singh was not in Aligarh at the time.Chandrachur Singh also pointed out that his other uncle, Puniya Pratap Singh, had died before Thakur Harender Pal Singh.The complaint further alleges that several properties covered by the disputed will were sold over the years. Chandrachur Singh claimed that a significant portion of valuable properties was subsequently transferred or disposed of.
Chandrachur Singh says he has evidence
Speaking to reporters on Friday evening, Chandrachur Singh said he had collected evidence related to his allegations. He also confirmed that he had appeared before the police after the FIR was registered.The actor said his statement was recorded by the police. Gaytri Devi had rejected allegations
