Central govt extends ASG’s tenure by 3 years | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: Central govt has extended the tenure of B Narasimha Sharma, additional solicitor general (ASG) for Telangana high court, by three years starting Oct 17, 2026. Sharma represents central govt’s cases in the high court. According to orders issued by the department of Legal Affairs under Union ministry of law, Sharma’s term remains subject to any subsequent directives issued by Centre. Following the announcement, advocate general A Sudarshan Reddy, deputy solicitor general N Bhujanga Rao, public prosecutor Palle Nageshwar Rao and members of the legal fraternity felicitated Sharma, who was first appointed to the post in Oct 2023.
