BJP activists protest at actor Prakash Raj’s briefing | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: BJP Telangana activists protested at actor-turned-political activist Prakash Raj’s news conference at Somajiguda Press Club on Saturday. The actor held the media briefing on special intensive revision (SIR) and demanded that SIR be scrapped and the earlier voters’ list be restored.On learning about his news conference, BJP workers, led by BJP state all cells coordinator Amarnath Sarangula, reached Press Club and tried to disrupt the news conference. The activists raised slogans against Prakash Raj by showing placards stating that ‘he is a vote thief who voted in four places’.Speaking to the media, Amarnath said, “Registering as a voter in four states is a criminal offence — yet he criticises the Modi govt and BJP.”
