US-based Guidehouse opens Hyderabad Hub, plans to hire 1,000 in 12 months

Hyderabad: Guidehouse, a US-headquartered global professional services firm, has opened its new hub in Hyderabad where it plans to hire more than 1,000 professionals over the next 12 months.Guidehouse currently has about 200 employees in the city and aims to scale the workforce significantly as demand for technology-led services grows.The Hyderabad centre, the company’s fourth location in India after Chennai, Trivandrum and Gurgaon, will support managed services, technology, analytics and digital transformation work, with a strong focus on healthcare, financial services and other regulated sectors, it said.Ali Bokhari, partner and global managed services leader at Guidehouse, said the expansion reflects the firm’s confidence in India’s talent base, innovation ecosystem and role in its global delivery model. He said the investment would support employees, clients and the future of the company’s delivery operations.The new hub has been designed to enable secure operations, collaboration and scalable client delivery. Guidehouse said it will recruit professionals with domain and technical skills, including technology graduates who can be trained in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence, automation and advanced analytics.Vinay Singh, partner and managed services and technology lead for India, said Hyderabad would increase the company’s capacity to deliver technology-enabled managed services at scale while helping clients improve operations and accelerate transformation.Mahendra Singh Rawat, partner and country head for India, Guidehouse, said Hyderabad’s talent pool, academic ecosystem and global capability centre network made it an important growth market for Guidehouse, which employs about 18,000 people worldwide today.
