The State Bank of India (SBI) has extended the online registration deadline for Specialist Cadre Officers recruitment 2026 in its Wealth Management and Premier Banking Department. Eligible candidates can now submit their application forms till October 31, 2026.The recruitment drive is being conducted on a contract basis under Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/25. Candidates can apply online through the SBI Current Openings portal.The recruitment covers six vacancies across five posts. SBI SCO recruitment 2026 : Posts and vacancies
SBI is recruiting candidates for the following positions:
- Head Sales: 1 vacancy
- Central Research Team (Product Lead): 2 vacancies
- Manager (Business Process): 1 vacancy
- Project Development Manager (Technology): 1 vacancy
- Central Operations Team (COT) Support: 1 vacancy
The suggested place of posting is Mumbai. However, the bank may post selected candidates at other locations in India, depending on its requirements.
SBI SCO recruitment 2026: Eligibility criteria
The educational qualifications and work experience required for each post are different.
- Head Sales: Candidates must have an MBA or PGDM from a reputed college or university. A minimum of 15 years of experience in managing sales teams in wealth management, retail banking or asset management companies is required. At least eight years of experience leading relationship managers and team leaders is also required.
- Central Research Team (Product Lead): Candidates must have an MBA or PGDM from a recognised institution, or be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). A minimum of five years of experience in equity research or wealth management products is required.
- Manager (Business Process): Candidates must have an MBA or PGDM from a government-recognised university or institution, along with at least five years of post-qualification experience in banking, wealth management firms or broking firms.
- Project Development Manager (Technology): Candidates must hold a BE, BTech, ME, MTech, MBA, MMS, PGDM or PGDBM from a government-recognised institution. A minimum of four years of experience in banking technology is required.
- Central Operations Team (COT) Support: Candidates must be graduates from a government-recognised university or institution. They must have at least three years of experience in financial services, investment advisory, private banking or wealth management solutions, including two years in central operations in the wealth management business.
The age limit varies by post and is calculated as of August 31, 2026. Candidates should refer to the detailed notification for the age limit and other conditions applicable to their chosen position.
