Malayalam film ‘Titans’, starring Jayasurya and Vinayakan, has completed a week-long run at the box office, with the film minting over Rs 13 lakh on Wednesday. The film’s domestic net total reached Rs 2.44 crore while its India gross stands at Rs 2.82 crore.Meanwhile, Sreenath Bhasi‘s ‘Orijinal’ has recorded a total gross of Rs 70 lakhs and India’s net total to Rs 63 lakh in six days. Both films reported modest collections on Wednesday as their theatrical runs continued.

‘Titans’ box office collection

According to Sacnilk, ‘Titans’ registered Rs 13 lakh across 554 shows in India on its seventh day. The numbers also show that the film saw a 13.3% drop from the previous day’s earnings of Rs 15 lakhs.The fantasy entertainer began its theatrical run on October 22. The film’s strongest performance came on Sunday, when its domestic net collection reached Rs 52 lakhs. It will be interesting to see if the film can mint good numbers as it enters the second weekend.

Occupancy of ‘Titans’

The film’s daily figures show that its opening-day earnings were followed by a weekend fluctuation. ‘Titans’ recorded 10,424 footfalls on Tuesday, taking its cumulative theatrical footfall count to 187,425. The Malayalam 2D version registered overall occupancy of 9.70%. Morning shows recorded 3%, while afternoon screenings reached 6.91%. Evening occupancy stood at 9.73%, and night shows registered 9.91%.

‘Orijinal’ box office collection in six days

On the other hand, Sreenath Bhasi’s Malayalam film ‘Orijinal’, directed by Ramees, minted over Rs. 5 lakh on its Day 6. It has collected Rs. 70 lakhs in its total gross collection and Rs. 63 crore in its India net collection.The film opened with Rs 18 lakhs on October 23.
