AIAPGET 2026 counselling put on hold until further notice; revised schedule and seat matrix to be out soon
The Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) has put the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) counselling 2026 on hold until further notice due to administrative reasons. The committee has said that the revised counselling schedule and seat matrix will be announced soon on its official website, aaccc.gov.in.The committee had earlier released the counselling schedule for the 2026-27 academic session, with Round 1 registration scheduled to begin on October 26. However, candidates seeking admission to postgraduate AYUSH courses will now have to wait for further instructions before proceeding with the counselling process.AACCC has also confirmed that the revised AIAPGET 2026 seat matrix will be released along with the updated counselling schedule. The seat matrix will provide details of the seats available across participating institutions and categories.Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly.
AIAPGET counselling 2026: Documents required
Candidates participating in the counselling process should keep the required documents ready for verification and admission. The list of documents mentioned in the notice includes:
- AIAPGET 2026 admit card
- AIAPGET 2026 scorecard or rank letter
- AACCC provisional seat allotment letter
- Class 10 marksheet and certificate for date-of-birth verification
- Class 12 marksheet and certificate
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS), or Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS) degree certificate, as applicable
- Marksheets of all professional examinations
- Compulsory rotatory internship completion certificate
- Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the relevant AYUSH council
- Valid photo identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, passport, Permanent Account Number (PAN) card or driving licence
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate, if applicable
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer certificate, if applicable
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) certificate, if applicable
- Recent passport-size photographs
