Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ recorded an impressive increase in box office collections on its second Saturday. According to Sacnilk, the action drama earned Rs 24.15 cr in India net collections on Day 10, marking a 66.6% jump from Friday’s Rs 14.50 cr.

The film collected Rs 10 cr in overseas gross revenue on Saturday, taking its cumulative international total to Rs 229.50 cr. It recorded an average of Rs 20,835 per show across 11,591 screenings during the day. The movie’s first week generated Rs 334.35 cr in India net collections. Its daily earnings included Rs 59.70 cr on October 15, followed by Rs 37.10 cr, Rs 47.25 cr and Rs 55.85 cr over the next three days. The film subsequently earned Rs 42.35 cr, Rs 46.80 cr, Rs 28.15 cr and Rs 17.15 cr between Monday and Thursday. After Friday’s decline, Saturday brought a notable recovery.

Language-wise collections and occupancy
The Tamil version led Saturday’s language-wise earnings with Rs 16.25 cr from 5,545 shows, recording 46.2% occupancy. Telugu contributed Rs 4.40 cr across 1,835 shows, with 38.4% occupancy. The Hindi version earned Rs 2.90 cr from 4,008 shows, registering 20.0%. Kannada added Rs 0.60 cr through 203 shows, with occupancy at 41.0%.The Tamil 2D version recorded 49.65% overall occupancy. Its morning shows registered 29.00%, while afternoon, evening and night screenings reached 48.15%, 56.00% and 65.46%, respectively. Hindi 2D recorded 24.23% overall occupancy, with its four time slots registering 12.00%, 19.33%, 28.25% and 37.33%. Telugu 2D achieved 41.42% overall occupancy, with morning at 21.42%, afternoon at 32.92%, evening at 41.92% and night at 52.17%.
State-wise gross and audience footfalls
Tamil Nadu generated Rs 12 cr in gross collections on Saturday, leading the state-wise report. Karnataka followed with Rs 5.50 cr, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana together contributed Rs 4.50 cr. Kerala recorded Rs 2.75 cr, and the rest of India added Rs 3.50 cr.
