Hyderabad: With less than three months to go for the Invest Telangana Global Summit-2026, deputy chief minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Wednesday directed officials to accelerate preparations and ensure the event is organised on a grand scale to attract investments and position Telangana as a leading global business destination.Chairing a review meeting at the secretariat, Bhatti said the summit, scheduled from Dec 7 to 9, would be a key milestone in Telangana’s ambition to become a $3 trillion economy by 2047. Ministers D Sridhar Babu, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mohammed Azharuddin and Adluri Laxman, chief secretary Sanjay Jaju and senior officials attended the meeting.Calling it a historic opportunity for the state, Bhatti asked officials to complete planning, budget approvals, and implementation processes without delay. He said around 10 committees headed by senior officials had been constituted to oversee arrangements, publicity, investor outreach and other summit-related activities, while executive councils headed by ministers would monitor progress.The deputy chief minister directed officials to ensure daily coordination among departments and widely promote the summit through print, electronic, digital, and social media platforms. He also asked them to review the implementation status of MoUs signed during previous investment events.Emphasising investor outreach, Bhatti instructed officials to identify countries, cities and sectors with the greatest investment potential for Telangana and prepare a roadmap for domestic and international roadshows. The proposals will be placed before a cabinet sub-committee before the outreach programme is launched.He also asked officials to monitor preparations through a dedicated war room and be ready to expand conference facilities from four halls to six or eight, depending on delegate response.
