Congress inspects BRS leaders’ farmhouse lands in Moinabad

Hyderabad: In continuation of their inspection visits to the lands around Erravelli and Janwada farm houses in the last two days, some of the Congress MPs, MLCs and MLAs on Sunday visited the areas near the farm houses allegedly owned by BRS leaders T Harish Rao and Pilot Rohith Reddy in Aziznagar and Moinabad.The visit was as a part of the Congress govt’s strategy to show the people of Telangana that the lands that have been allegedly encroached and amassed during the tenure of the previous BRS govt by misusing Dharani portal.Standing outside the farmhouse which they claimed was allegedly owned by Harish Rao, the Congress leaders said former chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, BRS working president KT Rama Rao and former minister T Harish Rao’s election affidavits in 2004, 2009 and 2014 did not mention them owning farm house lands. But their poll affidavits in 2023 had the mention of these lands, which means they amassed this wealth during the previous 10-year BRS govt tenure, Congress MLC Balmoori Venkat alleged.Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said the titles of the lands of the farmhouses allegedly owned by Pilot Rohith Reddy and Harish Rao were converted by the previous govt to benefit the BRS leaders. “KCR’s family allegedly amassed more assets in 10 years than the Nizams did in two hundred years in the past,” he alleged.A farmhouse has been built in Aziznagar next to a lake, within the Full Tank Level (FTL) area and in violation of GO 111, alleged Kiran Kumar.MLC Addanki Dayakar said, “We are on a fact-finding mission as these farmhouses have had fishy dealings in the past.”Sources said chief minister A Revanth Reddy is planning to hold a meeting in Sircilla, where he would make public the details of farmhouses allegedly owned by the BRS top leaders.
