Hyderabad: The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) has initiated the process to build a permanent office complex for the newly formed civic body at Izzat Nagar. The CMC has floated a tender to appoint a consultant for preparing the DPR, architectural and structural designs, drawings and other allied works for the proposed office building.The consultancy will have to design the facility to achieve net-zero certification during both the design and operational phases. The tender specifies targets for net-zero energy, net-zero water, net-zero waste-to-landfill and net-zero carbon, with certification to be pursued under applicable IGBC or GRIHA rating systems.One of the key requirements is a parking facility of more than 500 equivalent car spaces. The parking layout is to earmark 60% of spaces for staff, 25% for visitors, 5% for VIPs and 10% for service vehicles, besides providing parking for two-wheelers. At least 10% of the parking spaces are to be active EV bays, with infrastructure allowing for 100% future expansion.The consultant will also assist the CMC in securing building permission, a Fire NOC and permission from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), apart from providing technical assistance for obtaining technical sanction.
