BJP calls for making Dharani audit report public | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: BJP legislature party leader Aleti Maheshwar Reddy alleged that the Congress and BRS had turned the five-day assembly session into a drama, deliberately wasting time instead of discussing people’s issues.Maheshwar Reddy claimed a forensic audit of alleged irregularities in the Dharani portal had identified 13,000 transactions involving nearly 23 lakh acres. He questioned why the allegedly illegal registrations had not been cancelled and the lands reclaimed. He demanded that the audit report be made public and sought a judicial inquiry by a sitting judge. He also alleged that assigned lands around Hyderabad were being targeted in the name of Future City and Fourth City. Citing 333 acres of IDPL land in Quthbullapur, he claimed the property was worth around ₹33,000 crore and questioned why the govt had not reclaimed it.He accused the govt of adopting double standards through HYDRAA, alleging action against poor residents while influential persons escaped scrutiny.
