meeting at the Wacha-Damai border meeting point in Arunachal Pradesh amid unresolved issues along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), ANI reported citing sources.The meeting, scheduled for September 6, is expected to provide a platform to address the ongoing issues in the area. The talks will be held at Wacha on the Indian side, with India represented by 3 Corps Commander Lt Gen Girish Kalia, according to the report by ANI.The Indian Army's 3 Corps, based at Rangapahar, and 4 Corps, headquartered in Tezpur, are responsible for the LAC in Arunachal Pradesh.India and China have differing perceptions of the LAC, which has periodically led to face-offs and other issues on the ground. Until now, Corps Commander-level talks between the two sides have largely been held at the Chusul-Moldo border meeting point in Ladakh following the 2020 Galwan Valley clashes, in which soldiers from both countries were killed.The latest talks come after National Security Adviser Ajit Doval's visit to China for the 25th round of India-China Special Representatives' talks on the boundary question.
