43-year-old British-Nigerian businessman and influencer R. Igho Ubiribo, who also went by the names Denisi or Ego, passed away earlier this year. The 43-year-old had been in Thailand in March for a luxury vacation and to get a cosmetic procedure done, after which he passed away. Here’s what we know so far about what happened to him.

TMZ reported that the famed influencer who hailed from Britain passed away in March earlier this year. The star had been traveling in Thailand at the time with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, for a luxury vacation. During his stay in the country, Ubiribo decided to undergo a penile enlargement procedure. However, soon after the cosmetic surgery was done, the report revealed that he suffered from a fatal embolism.According to the reports and details shared by the Inner West London Coroner’s Court, the influencer had 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into him for the procedure. He and his wife had been staying at the Marriott hotel in Bangkok at the time, and after coming back from the procedure, they had gone to get massages. There, Igho complained of chest pain and passed out two times. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, he lost consciousness before a CT scan could be taken. Medical personnel performed CPR and life-saving measures for more than 100 minutes; however, Igho passed away in the early hours of March 6. A statement from the report read, “Coroner Jean Harkin ruled that Igho died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure.”According to the outlet, the influencer was laid to rest in London, and his funeral was attended by friends and family members, as well as celebrities from the industry. Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido also attended his funeral and paid tribute to his friend.
