Expedite Warangal super-specialty hospital works: Minister | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: Health minister Damodar Rajanarsimha has directed officials to complete all pending works at the upcoming Warangal super-specialty hospital by the end of Oct and conduct a trial run in Nov. The hospital is expected to start providing medical services in Dec. The minister issued the instructions during a review meeting on the progress of the Warangal hospital and the TIMS facilities coming up at Alwal and LB Nagar.Officials said construction of the Warangal hospital was in the final stages. The installation of essential medical equipment, including X-ray and CT scan machines, is expected to be completed by Sept. The minister directed R&B and health department officials to ensure that works related to water supply, sanitation and other essential services were completed alongside the hospital’s construction. He also ordered officials to make arrangements for the trial run in Nov.“An expert committee of doctors to inspect the hospital once every 15 days and provide suggestions to ensure that the facility is ready to deliver medical services. The committee will coordinate with department officials and representatives of the construction company,” said the minister. Officials said the TIMS Alwal is expected to be completed by the end of this year, while the TIMS at LB Nagar is likely to be ready by March 2027.
