Sushmita Sen has once again addressed questions about her marriage plans, this time during a live interaction with fans on Instagram. The actor gave a witty, non-committal response when directly asked about tying the knot, keeping the topic open-ended as she has done in the past.

When a fan asked Sushmita Sen if she was planning to get married, she replied, “Iss sawal ka jawab aap aur hum dono dhundte reh jayenge (We’ll both keep searching for the answer to this question).” The response quickly caught fans’ attention, continuing the actor’s long-standing approach of addressing the topic with humour rather than a direct answer.
Sushmita Sen has opened up about marriage before
This isn’t the first time Sushmita Sen has spoken about her decision to remain single. In 2022, during a conversation with Twinkle Khanna on Tweak India’s ‘The Icons’, she revealed that she had met some “very interesting men” in her life, but things didn’t work out. “Luckily I met some very interesting men in my life, the only reason I never got married is because they were a let down. It had nothing to do with my kids. My kids were never in the equation. If at all, they have been very gracious. Both my kids have accepted people in my life with open arms, never made a face. They have given everybody equal measure of love and respect. It’s the most beautiful thing to watch,” she had said.She also spoke about coming close to marriage on three separate occasions, all of which fell through. She added, “I came close to getting married thrice; all three times God saved me. I can’t tell you what disasters followed with their respective lives. God protected me; also, because God is protecting these two kids, he can’t let me get into a messy affair.”
Sushmita Sen’s past relationships
Sushmita was previously in a long-term relationship with model Rohman Shawl, with the two reportedly parting ways in 2021. She was also briefly linked to businessman Lalit Modi in the past.
