Six people died and several others were injured in a bus accident.

VIJAYAWADA: Six people were killed and several others seriously injured after a private travel bus rammed into a moving truck near Durgapuram stage in the early hours of Wednesday.The accident occurred around 5.20 am when the bus, carrying 43 passengers travelling from Hyderabad to Vijayawada, collided with the moving truck.The injured were shifted to local hospitals for treatment. The bodies of the deceased have been moved to the mortuary for post-mortem examination.Police have launched an investigation into the accident to ascertain the exact cause of the collision.
