3 arrested for performing dangerous stunts

Hyderabad: Attapur police arrested three people on Wednesday for allegedly performing life-threatening motorcycle stunts on a public road without registration plates while their friends recorded them.Police identified the accused as Mohammed Mohinuddin (24), Mohammed Rizan and Tohid (19).During routine patrolling near Attapur Pillar No. 257 on Oct 6, police found a viral social media video showing the three riding motorcycles in an extremely rash and negligent manner, creating chaos on the road, officials said.Footage of the stunts was uploaded to Instagram. Police said the acts caused fear and panic among commuters and posed a grave threat to road safety.A suo motu case was registered before the accused were arrested. Police advised parents to monitor their children’s activities and prevent them from performing life-threatening stunts for social media views and likes.
