SSC CHSL FRTA result 2026: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2025. The FRTA notice was issued on August 17, 2026, after the Tier-I result was declared on February 27, 2026, and Tier-II examinations were conducted in April 2026.A total of 13,395 candidates submitted their option-cum-preferences between June 19 and June 25, 2026. Based on performance in Section-I and Section-II of Tier-II, 3,515 candidates have been provisionally recommended for Document Verification, subject to qualifying the CKT and Skill/Typing Tests. SSC has also specified the applicable Section-III and Section-IV requirements and tie-resolution rules.SSC CHSL FRTA result and allocation detailsThe Commission has introduced a sliding mechanism to maximise the utilisation of available vacancies. A single round of reallocation will be conducted for eligible candidates under the prescribed process.Recommended candidates must log in to the official SSC website between August 20 and August 22, 2026, to select their venue, date and slot for the sliding process. The Tier-I examination was held from November 12 to November 30, 2025, followed by the answer key release on December 8 and the objection window from December 8 to December 11.The Tier-I result was declared on February 27, 2026, while the FRTA has now been released on August 17, 2026.SSC CHSL vacancies and selection processThe recruitment covers 3,131 vacancies for posts including Clerk, Lower Divisional Clerk, Data Entry Operator and Junior Secretariat Assistant. Candidates aged 18 to 27 years as on January 1, 2026, were eligible, subject to applicable relaxation rules. The minimum educational requirement is Class 12, with typing requirements applicable to relevant posts.The selection process comprises Tier-I, Tier-II, Skill Test or Typing Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.Final answer key and marksSSC will upload the final answer keys used for evaluation and detailed marks of selected and non-selected candidates on its official website in due course.The Commission has stated that results for eight candidates have been withheld, one candidate’s candidature has been cancelled and 12 candidates have been debarred.
