Chiranjeevi is gearing up for his upcoming action entertainer ‘Kaaka’, directed by Bobby Kolli. On the occasion of Diwali, the makers unveiled a new poster featuring the Megastar in an intense avatar as the film is set to hit the big screens during the Sankranti festive season.

The poster shows Chiranjeevi standing in a field of tall crops amid heavy rain. He looks back over his shoulder with an intense expression, holding a curved sickle with what appears to be blood on its blade. Sporting wet, muddy clothes, tousled hair and a stubbled look, the actor appears in a rugged avatar.Sharing the poster, the makers wrote, “HAPPY DIWALI EVERYONE. Tapasulu SANKRANTHIKI Kaaludham. #KAAKA – JAN 13th Sankranthi 2027.”

Cast of ‘Kaaka’

Chiranjeevi will play a character named Kadiri Kalidas in the upcoming action drama, which is also being presented as a family entertainer. The film features Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj in important roles. Actor and filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has joined the cast as a powerful antagonist, while Getup Srinu is also part of the project.

Teaser of ‘Kaaka’ and release date

Earlier, the makers released the film’s teaser on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. It introduced the actor as Satyam, a supervisor at a shrimp farm named Ammaji Aqua Industries.In the teaser, a key falls into a pool filled with shrimps, prompting Satyam to use a giant electromagnet to retrieve it. However, several weapons also emerge from the water along with the key. The keychain attached to it carries the words ‘I love dad’. Later, his character is seen in an action sequence where he can be seen using a submachine gun on his enemies.‘Kaaka’ is scheduled to release in theatres on January 13, 2027.
