PGIMER Nursing Officer admit card 2026: The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has released the admit card for the Nursing Officer Recruitment 2026 examination. Candidates who applied for the 243 Group B vacancies can now download their hall tickets through the institute’s official website, pgimer.edu.in. The admit cards were made available on November 5, 2026.The Computer Based Test (CBT), which was initially scheduled for October 21, has been postponed to November 18, 2026. The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. PGI/RC/055/2026/2276 for direct appointments at PGIMER Chandigarh.PGIMER Nursing Officer recruitment 2026 overviewThe recruitment offers 243 Nursing Officer vacancies under the Level-7 pay scale. The selected candidates will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400.

Age relaxation will apply according to the prescribed rules.Candidates must possess a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing qualification with State Nursing Council registration. Alternatively, applicants with a GNM diploma must have State Nursing Council registration and at least one year of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds.CBT exam pattern and selection processThe examination will be conducted in English and comprise 100 multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks. Candidates will receive 100 minutes to complete the test. Each incorrect answer will attract a negative marking of 0.25 marks.The qualifying marks are 40% for General and EWS candidates and 35% for SC, ST and OBC candidates.Selection will involve the CBT, scrutiny of applications and documents, document verification, PET/PMT and medical fitness assessment. Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination by the Institute’s Medical Board before appointment.
