Beyoncé’s daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter accompany their mother, grandmother, and Kelly Rowland for special event |

Beyoncé often has her daughter Blue Ivy accompany her on stage as one of the backup dancers, and has also invited her younger sister, Rumi, on stage to greet fans too. However, the singer has always ensured that the two stay away from the public eye for the most part when it comes to their everyday lives. Similarly, the two were spotted with their mother for a special event.

The two sisters were recently spotted by their mother’s side while they celebrated the opening of the Knowles-Rowland House in their hometown of Houston on Tuesday, October 13. PEOPLE reported that the Knowles trio were accompanied by fellow Destiny’s Child bandmate, Kelly Rowland, and her mom, Tina Knowles, for the celebration.During the event, Blue Ivy opted for a green-colored jersey top, which she paired with gray jeans and dark heels as she stood between her mother and Rowland. She wore her hair up in a ponytail and was photographed at the event holding a pair of scissors that was used to cut the ribbon for the ceremony. Rumi Carter, on the other hand, wore a simple black dress, which she paired with a black sweater with a white trim. The ‘Crazy in Love’ singer had her arms around her as they stood beside Blue Ivy and everyone else. The 9-year-old’s hair was also styled up in a ponytail like her sister, though she opted for sneakers to complete the look for the special occasion.Their mother wore a beige wrap-around-style dress and kept her hair down in waves, while their grandmother, Tina, opted for a black suit jacket with matching suit pants. The house had first been damaged and almost destroyed during Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Following renovations and restoration efforts, the 31-unit permanent supportive housing facility was officially inaugurated and reopened to those in need earlier this week. While both Ivy and Rumi have accompanied their mother on stage for her ‘Playboy Carter’ world tour, Ivy also recently joined both her parents onstage for dad Jay-Z’s 30th anniversary concert series at Yankee Stadium. On the personal front, both Jay-Z and the ‘Single Ladies’ singer have been doting parents for their daughters, who often talk about their achievements in public. Earlier this year while talking to GQ about his career, the rapper shared that Blue Ivy has a lot of musical talent like her parents. He shared during the interview: “She won’t let us get her a teacher. She doesn’t want it to be a job. But she has perfect pitch. If she hears a song, she’ll be like, ‘Play it again,’ and then she’ll teach herself. That’s just talent. She doesn’t work at that. She worked at this, and it makes me proud that she fought for something that she really wanted to do. I don’t think we’re going to be able to get her off that stage now.”The couple welcomed Blue Ivy Carter into the world on January 7, 2012, while Rumi Carter was born on June 13, 2017.
