Sharon returned the mansion to the market in April 2026 for $17 million, and it has now received another reduction. The property is being represented by Jonah Wilson and Josh Greer of Carolwood Estates. Inside the Osbournes’ Los Angeles mansion
The historic estate spans about 11,565 square feet and is set behind gates surrounded by mature trees and landscaped grounds. The house dates to the late 1920s and was extensively restored during the Osbournes’ ownership. The interiors combine historic architecture with modern luxury. The main level features a grand foyer, living room, formal dining room, wood-panelled library and additional office or staff areas. An elevator connects the home’s different levels. The chef’s kitchen includes modern appliances, white cabinetry and a breakfast area. It opens into the family room and toward an outdoor dining space equipped with a pizza oven and barbecue. One of the home’s standout features is its old-Hollywood-style screening room, complete with red velvet interiors, a fireplace and bar. The room also has signatures from famous visitors, including Elvis Presley, Mel Tormé and Natalie Wood. The upstairs area includes four en suite bedrooms, while the primary suite has two bathrooms and a large walk-in closet. The property has seven bedrooms in total.Outside, the estate includes landscaped gardens, a large lawn and a mosaic-tiled swimming pool. There is also a self-contained guest apartment above the garage. The mansion has also appeared on screen, serving as a backdrop for Sharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which documented the couple’s plans to return to Britain.
Why the Osbournes wanted to return to the U.K.
Ozzy had spoken for years about wanting to leave the U.S. and return to Britain. In a 2022 interview with The Observer, he expressed his frustration with life in America and cited concerns about gun violence among the reasons he wanted to move back.Health problems delayed those plans. In February 2025, Sharon told Planet Rock that Ozzy would finally return to the U.K. in March and that he was excited to reunite with his Black Sabbath bandmates.
That reunion became one of the final major moments of his career.
On July 5, 2025, Ozzy performed with Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward at Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park in Birmingham. It marked the original lineup’s first performance together in 20 years and was billed as Ozzy’s final show.Just over two weeks later, Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76. His death certificate listed out-of-hospital cardiac arrest and acute myocardial infarction, with coronary artery disease and Parkinson’s disease with autonomic dysfunction also listed as contributing causes.
Sharon’s latest attempt to sell the home
The $16 million listing marks another attempt by Sharon to part with the California estate following the couple’s long-planned return to Britain. The mansion is significantly more expensive than the $11.85 million the Osbournes paid for it in 2015, but the property has undergone extensive restoration and retains several distinctive features from its Hollywood history. For Sharon, the home is also a reminder of the years she and Ozzy spent building a life in Los Angeles before ultimately returning to the U.K. Now, after Ozzy’s death and another price reduction, the historic Hancock Park estate is once again looking for a new owner.
