KTR seeks white paper on 8,000-acre land parcels in Sircilla | Hyderabad News

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao has sought a white paper from chief minister A Revanth Reddy on the alleged transfer of 8,000 acres of land parcels in Rajanna Sircilla district, asking the govt to disclose survey numbers, locations and names of those allegedly involved.KTR also referred to CM Revanth’s statement that around 2,400 acres had been recovered and sought details of those parcels, including their locations, survey numbers, previous ownership and present status.He asked govt to disclose who had allegedly occupied or received the 8,000 acres, when such transfers took place and under what proceedings they were made.KTR alleged that repeated statements without placing supporting records in the public domain were creating confusion among farmers and landowners in Sircilla. He sought complete details of the land parcels and action taken against those responsible, if any irregularities had been established.KTR said BRS was prepared to face action according to law if govt produced evidence of any wrongdoing by its leaders. He, however, asked govt not to penalise farmers or genuine landowners on the basis of unsubstantiated allegations.He also sought details of officials involved in identifying and recovering the alleged govt land and asked that records relating to such action be made public.
