Hyderabad: Union minister and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar alleged that both chief minister A Revanth Reddy and BRS working president KT Rama share close political ties and were engaged in behind-the-scenes dealings. He asked, when there was sufficient evidence related to alleged land irregularities, why no action was being taken by the govt. He alleged that negotiations had begun between the Congress and the BRS over the issue and suggested that the recent decision to send Congress leaders to inspect a farmhouse was part of a political drama.Speaking to media after participating in Rozgar Mela in Hyderabad on Saturday, Sanjay said a by-election in the Khairatabad assembly constituency was unavoidable and accused the Congress of formulating an electoral strategy aimed at securing the support of Muslim voters. He alleged that the party was hoping to benefit from the backing of the AIMIM and was seeking to consolidate minority votes in the constituency.The Union minister accused KTR of being involved in “quid pro quo” arrangements linked to various business ventures, land permissions and political appointments.
