Actors Daniel Diemer and Shaheen Jafargholi have officially joined the cast of the upcoming season of ‘Heated Rivalry.’ The queer romance drama took the world by storm earlier this year with Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams in the leading roles. While their story will continue with the upcoming second season, many other stars are joining the show to bring some brand new characters to life.Here is a look at the brand-new casting announcement for ‘Heated Rivalry.’
New actors join the cast of ‘Heated Rivalry 2 ‘
Variety confirmed in its latest report that the team behind ‘Heated Rivalry 2’ has found their Ryan Price and Fabian Salah. Actors Daniel Diemer and Shaheen Jafargholi will play those roles, respectively, in the upcoming season of the much-anticipated hockey romance series.Not much has been revealed about the new characters being introduced to the show; however, according to Rachel Reid’s ‘Game Changers’ books, Ryan and Fabian are the main couple from the third instalment of the series, titled ‘Tough Guy.’ The outlet reports that Ryan is portrayed as an anxious person who has many issues with his self-image. He is a Canadian player in the National Hockey League who is frequently traded between teams. On the other hand, Fabian Salah is portrayed in the books as an openly gay Lebanese Canadian indie musician who has already come to terms with his identity.

Daniel Diemer is a rising star who is best known for his work in the ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ OTT series. He first rose to popularity after playing one of the leads in ‘The Half of It.’ Other than that, he has also appeared in various other projects such as ‘Supercell,’ ‘Little Brother,’ ‘Absolution,’ and ‘Brazen,’ to name a few.Shaheen Jafargholi has appeared in one of the longest-running British TV shows, ‘EastEnders,’ along with many other projects like ‘Lost Boys and Fairies,’ ‘Wreck,’ ‘Grandpa in My Pocket,’ ‘Casualty,’ ‘The Agency,’ ‘In Flight,’ and more.
